What is MAX?

How is Max different from HBO MAX?

With Max, your customers get even more! Max brings together all the programming they already love—hit movies, original series, and more. From the world of Harry Potter, The DC Universe and HBO—plus the best in true crime, documentaries, food and home. Max is The One to Watch!

 

If a customer has HBO/HBO MAX does the customer now have MAX?

Yes! If a customer has previously logged into the HBO Max app, they simply use the same username and password to log into Max. All profiles and watch history will automatically carry over.If a customer had HBO Max but never logged into the app, the customer will have to set up their account for the first time. It will be easy—just have the customer download the Max app and use their provider username and password to log in.

 

What happens on MAX launch day? How does a customer sign in?

In May, the HBO Max app will become Max, bringing your customers worlds of new content to explore at a great value!If a customer has HBO Max installed, one of two things will happen: 1) HBO Max will automatically update to Max, or 2) When a customer opens HBO Max, they’ll be prompted to download Max.Either way, HBO Max will become Max. The Max app will have the HBO Max movies and series that customers already love, plus an expanded catalog with new favorites in genres like true crime, documentaries, food, home, lifestyle and more.

 

Can a customer still use the HBO MAX app once the MAX app is launched?

No, in May the HBO Max app will become Max and customers will be directed to log into Max.

 

Will customers still have their HBO MAX profiles and settings?

Yes! Profiles and most HBO Max settings should automatically carry over once your customer logs into Max for the first time.

 

How do new customers sign up for MAX after it launches?

After adding Max to their existing video or internet package, customers can download the Max app on their favorite device and login using their provider username and password.With a Max subscription, customers will continue to get:- Access to the Max app– HBO channels– HBO On Demand(Some plans may not include HBO channels and HBO On Demand.)
