Basic or Digital Converter
Instructions:- Connect the incoming CATV cable to the "RF IN" connector on the Converter Box.
- Connect the "RF OUT" on the Converter box to the "RF IN" on your TV set.
Basic VCR Hook-Up
Instructions:- Connect the incoming CATV cable to the "RF IN" connector on the Converter Box.
- Connect the "RF OUT" on the Converter box to the "RF IN" on your VCR.
- Connect the "RF OUT" on the VCR to the "RF IN" on your TV set.
- Use RCA cables to connect the Converter's "R", "L" and "V" output connectors to the VCR's "R", "L" and "V" input connectors.
- Then use additional RCA cables to connect the VCR's "R", "L" and "V" output connectors to the TV's "R", "L" and "V" input connectors.
Picture-In-Picture TV
Instructions:- Hook the incoming CATV cable into the splitter. One out-going RF cable from the splitter should then hook into the "RF IN" connector of the Converter Box.
- The second out-going RF cable from the splitter should go directly into the "RF IN" connector of your TV set.
- Using RCA cables, hook the "Audio R Output" of the Converter box to the "Audio R Input" of the VCR. Do the same with the "Audio L" and "Video" jacks.
- Using additional RCA cables, hook the "Audio R Output" of your VCR to the "Audio R Input" of your TV set. Do the same with the "Audio L" and "Video" jacks.
- The TV must be on and tuned to Channel 3 (or 4). Using the TV remote control, switch to the <video> mode on the TV set. This will give you the Converter/VCR picture. Now with the TV remote control, use the PIP functions.
PIP TV with Stereo Receiver
Instructions:- Hook the incoming CATV cable into the splitter. Then one RF cable from the splitter should hook into the Converter's "RF IN" connector, the other RF cable should go to the VCR's "RF IN" connector.
- Use an RF cable to hook the Converter's "RF OUT" into one of the "IN" connectors of the A/B switch the diagram shows it going into the "A" connector.
- Using another RF cable, go from the "OUT" connector of the A/B switch to the "RF IN" of your TV.
- Using RCA cables, connect the "Audio R Output", "Audio L Output" and "Video Output" of the Converter to the appropriate "Input" connectors of your VCR.
- Use an RF cable to go from the VCR's "RF OUT" connector to the other "IN" connector of the A/B switch -- in this diagram it shows it going to the "B" connector.
- Use RCA cables to connect the "Audio R Output" and "Audio L Output" of your VCR to the "Audio R Input" and "Audio L Input" of your stereo receiver. The VCR's "Video Output" should go to the TV's "Video Input" connector.
- Use additional RCA cables to hook the TV's "Audio R Output" and "Audio L Output" connectors to the additional Stereo Receiver's "Audio R Input" and "Audio L Input" connectors.
