This was basically the most horrifing weekend ever for me and my wife. Like many others in Floyd and surrounding counties, we witness to one of the worst floods since 1984. Friday and Saturday, my wife and I maybe got about 3 hours sleep from trying keep our home from being destroyed by the raging waters flowing off all sides of the hills.
Follow up:
The flood waters eventually had taken our fencing, loaded the yard with junk, having to board our wonderful dogs until we get the fenching fixed and destroyed basically everthing around and under our home for the last ten years. But thankfully we were not injured and our lives can be rebuilt, but alot in the community were not that lucky. If you know anyone that is having hardship from this weekend disaster, give them a helping hand.
