If you miss the Dreamcast, apparently you’re in good company. Sonic the Hedgehog creator said in an interview he’s hoping to work on Dreamcast 2.
During a London press event for Ivy the Kiwi?, Naka told CVG that he holds more than a bit of nostalgia for Sega’s past.
"I do miss those old days when I was heavily involved in hardware making at Sega," Naka told CVG. "I was involved in most of the consoles and controllers that Sega came up with.
Follow up:
"If I have the opportunity in the future I want to be involved again with hardware making," Naka said. "It would be ideal if I could become some sort of advisor working with the platform makers in future.”
Naka then went on to say that he thought such a move would be good for everyone, because he could come up with brand new games. If Ivy is any indication, maybe that’s not such a good idea. www.gameinformer.com
