With the win in Tuscaloosa, it is almost certain that the Cats will be ranked when the new rankings come out today. Much debate has gone on nationally (and via text as Jeff Goodman and I continue our battle from Friday via the medium used by 14 year old girls everywhere) about where the Cats stand and what type of team they are. But here is what we know.
Kentucky is 5-0 in conference, has won 11 out of their last 12 and are one of only four teams in the nation (the others being Duke, Louisville and Oklahoma) to be undefeated in a BCS conference. In addition, no UK team (except the 1991 team from probation) has started out 5-0 in the SEC and not won the conference title (thanks to Tom Leach for giving me that stat). Haters need to recognize that the Cats are good…..how good may be up in the air, but this is a team to contend with and folks should start to come around.

I really just DO NOT understand the logic behind these decisions. Yes, I know that the Southeastern Conference is down a bit this year, BUT REALLY, WITH KENTUCKY BEING 5-0 IN THE SEC, AND A 16-4 RECORD, NOT RANKED! THAT IS OBSURD! The Wildcats are peaking at the right time and knocked three wins on the road in the early SEC conference schedule. I DEMAND A FULL INVESTIGATION! What do you all think?
Plus, Ramon Harris has been cleared to play in the next game against Ole Mis!
